Esther, more commonly referred to as Dear Esther, is one of the four main characters of the story. From what's said, Esther is the passed on wife of the Narrator. She may have been killed in a car crash also involving her husband, with Paul as the driver of the other car. 17. Dear Esther Trophy Guide • PSNProfiles.com
Sep 16, 2021 · You'll be collecting the four story chapters - Silver Donnelley, Silver Jakobson, Silver Esther, and Gold Paul - as well as the two collectible trophies.
Every chapter has a single, well-hidden urn that you're all but guaranteed to need a guide to find when you're playing. All you have to do with each is walk up to and look at them by zooming in, causing the ashes spilled by them to blow away; this is what indicates that it's been counted as "found". Keep in mind, however, that your progress, including the found urn in each chapter, will only be saved once you complete the chapter; while you can clean this up after a playthrough via level select, if you're missing more than 1 urn, you'll need to complete all but one of the chapters where you missed them in order to save their being found to your save data (e.g. if you're missing urns in chapters 1 and 2, you'll need to find the urn in 1, complete 1, then find the urn in 2). Refer to the textual and visual guides below for their locations.
